Ampa and I were having a relaxing evening without any Grandchildren and we were beside ourselves with boredom. Ampa had the greatest idea of setting up a little shooting range in our back yard....so we could challenge each other with the best out of 2 groups of 3 shoots. We had some old fencing in the back that we planned on using for something we just didn't know what until yesterday. Ampa is so clever!
We shot the BB gun from the back porch, sitting on lawn chairs and had a blast!!
Ampa set the rocks on top of the cans to keep them steady. Our goal was to shoot the center black spot in the ball shown on the can. It was a hoot! Ampa is so competitive when it comes to shooting...it cracks me up!

And this is mine....at least I hit the can! LOL!
It was so much fun and more importantly.....spent time with my husband doing something that is a real interest for him and doing it together! We continued to shoot for an hour and laughed tilled we cried! Ampa was trying to shoot the rock off the can....many attempts but no cigar. He kept missing and he was getting so frustrated and more determined with each shot missed. Finally he had gotten up and went to the can to see where the shots were going and he could see that he had been hitting the rock all along. LOL The shots were hitting but not powerful enough to move the rock off the can. I laughed so hard because if you had seen how frustrated Ampa was getting when he thought he was missing shot after shot....it was great! I LOVED IT! He just makes me laugh!
Just thought I'd share a great evening. Sorry about no photos of us but he wouldn't let me take any and there was no way I was letting him take of picture of me in the state I was in...I had been cleaning and yard work all day.
Tomorrow we are going to bug bomb the basement for fun....Yipee!

That sounds like fun! I'm glad you guys got to do something....and you both enjoyed it! I was laughing! Bug bombing for fun! Lucky!
